Faroe Islands

The Faroe Islands is a small archipelago carved out by the last age into volcanic rock. At the mercy of the weather in the North Atlantic Ocean this collection of 18 small islands is 260km (160 miles) from the nearest international neighbour.

One of the main reasons to visit is to explore the mountains and islands by foot. Walking is a popular pastime, peaks reach 880m into the sky and you are never further than 5km (3 miles) from the sea.

Pick up the phone and talk to someone with personal experience of your holiday. Call us on +44(0)1427 700115.
