Husky Activities
Drive your own husky (on wheels)
During the summer the huskies still need exercising. Instead of the traditional sled the huskies pull a small wagon as they keep their fitness levels high all year round. Harness your team to the wagon together with your guide and drive out along the Advent Valley. Admire the tundra and wildlife of Svalbard.
Price: £86 per adult / £73 per child (8-12yrs). Duration: 3hrs.
Availability: 21 June to Late October. Suitability: Average fitness with good balance.

Walking & Hiking
Fossil Hunting with Dogs
A leisurely walk along the Bolter Valley and the meandering riverbed in the company of some friendly huskies. You are not allowed to pick living flowers on Svalbard, however if you find a 40 million year old fossil it’s yours to keep! Waffles and hot drinks are included.
Price: £37 per adult / £25 per child (8-12yrs). Duration: 3hrs.

Trollsteinen – over the Lars Glacier
Enjoy the panoramic views from 849m above sea level! This landscape has been carved out by thousands of tonnes of ice during the last ice age. Cross the glacier and hike along the mountain ridge before enjoying a well-earned lunch from a sheltered location with breath-taking views. Sandwich and hot drinks are included.
Price: £70 per adult (min age 14). Duration: 6hrs.
Availability: 20 June to 30 September. Suitability: Good fitness required – experienced walkers.
Info: Necessary safety equipment provided. Bring walking boots and small rucksack. Gaiters are recommended. The terrain is rugged and steep.
Sea Kayaking
Evening Tour
An afternoon and evening exploring the Advent Fjord. A great way to get up close and personal with nature and the wilderness in the fjord. Hot drinks and snacks included.
Price: £85 per adult / £69 per child (12-16yrs). Duration: 4hrs.
Availability: 1 June to 30 September. Suitability: Average fitness required, especially in upper body.
Info: Necessary safety equipment provided. No paddling experience required. Dry suit and life jacket provided.
Sightseeing
Longyearbyen Sightseeing
Learn about the geography, geology and history of this wonderful location so close to the North Pole. The tour takes you to Mine 7, as mining is the most important industry in Longyearbyen, and out to the airport for a geology lesson. An educational summary of life on Svalbard.
Price: £29 per adult / £29 per child (min age 2). Duration: 2hrs.
Availability: All year. Suitability: Suitable for everyone.

Boat Trips along Isfjorden
Russian town of Barentsburg
Arctic bird life, blue glaciers and Barentsburg is one magical day tour of Isfjorden. Understand the size, stature and power of glaciers at Ymerbukta Bay with the Esmarkbreen glacier. After lunch the boat cruises across Isfjorden towards Barentsburg, the Russian mining town with 400 residents from Soviet countries. A guided tour with a local guide through a town that time forgot. Opportunities to buy some Russian souvenirs. Back on board and heading home you pass the steep bird cliffs, exploding with colour at later in the summer. Lunch is served on board.

RIB tour to Glacier Von Postbreen
Speed along Isfjorden, pass crowded bird cliffs and watch the glacier grow from a small blue line on the horizon to a towering wall of ice. Pass historical sites, including old hunters cabins. Wilderness lunch is provided.
Price: £130 per adult (min age 14yrs). Duration: 6hrs.
Availability: 20 May to 11 September. Suitability: Not suitable for those with back problems.
Info: Not recommended if you are pregnant. Dress warmly with woollen layers, gloves, hat and walking boots. You will be provided with floatation suit. The sea can be bumpy and there could be some spray.
RIB tour to Fuglefjellet
A nature safari along Isfjorden to steep bird cliffs where thousands of birds have sought sanctuary from predators. Pass by abandoned Russian mining settlements which originate from the 1900s. Hot drinks and snacks are provided.
